Migrate followers from wordpress.com to self-hosted site

  I tried following the sticky post link instructions for this but the links are dead and the cached copy has instructions that don’t work. I have jetpack activated.

  The previous blog was of the same name on wordpress.com (sharetraveler.com) prior to that my account name was dawnzerly.wordpress.com. I am trying to migrate my followers to my new self-hosted blog which is now at sharetraveler.com.

  We have asked to have our folowers migrated to our new wordpress.org site. We got the email that this will be done, but it never happened. Could you please help us out? the site is saraelman.com
