Migrate followers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org site
-
I recently moved my pennienichols.wordpress.com site to pennienichols.com. I would like to migrate my existing followers to the new site. I installed jetpack and connected it to this account, so both sites are currently attached here. How do I go about moving my followers to the new site so I do not lose them?
Thanks!

If you would like to move your subscribers and/or use select WordPress.com features on your self-hosted site, install and activate the Jetpack plugin.
Connect the plugin to your WordPress.com account, and then use the subscription migration tool to migrate your subscribers.

How do you “connect the plugin to your WordPress.com account”? Both sites are accessible from the switch sites button, and i do have subscriptions activated in my jetpack, on the .org site….but the rest is beyond me. Can someone do this for me?

To clarify, there is no “migrate followers” option in my settings, after switching to my .org site. Is this because I’m using mobile?

To connect the plugin, there is instruction on how to do this here:
https://jetpack.me/support/installing-jetpack/Please note that if you don’t see the connect button, chances are you’re already connected, since you mentioned that you saw both sites were accesible.
Please try using desktop (PC/Mac), some features are stripped off/hidden in mobile layout.
