Migrate from self-hosted to wordpress-hosted

  My website is currently self-hosted on 1&1 servers, with a custom domain. I’m thinking I’d be better found by other wordpress bloggers if I was word-press hosted. Can I migrate to wordpress-hosted and take with me all content, without having to reconfigure, re-attach photos etc etc. Just move all the files?

  Yep, you can import media from your WordPress library.

  Be sure to keep your older site active and accessible while you run the importer.
