Migrate from wordpress.org to wordpress.com

    Hi,

    I have created a blog page in wordpress.org. I would like to migrate it to my wordpress page. I am exporting my wordpress.org page in xml format and then exporting it to my wordpress.com page. Yet, when I received the email that my import has been successful, I open my wordpress.com page and it hasn’t changed at all.

    Could anyone help me with this problem?

    Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the file is very large Staff may have to do the import.

    Well, I have realised that it has exported my posts and pages but not any of the images or theme characteristics have been exported. It has changed my original theme order when I have exported to wordpress.com.

    Is it because of that problem that you have said earlier?

    I do not see any pending import under your account, so I would try to import the blog and again and see if it is successful.
