Migrate Jetpack site stats to new wordpress install (same domain)

    I’m building a new site (under a testing domain) for an existing site with Jetpack installed.

    How do I ensure that the current site stats (for example, # of all-time views, etc.) are included in the *new* install of wordpress? Same content, basically – just new theme, couple new pages.

    Would I re-point the domain to the new site, then install/activate/connect Jetpack in the new site?

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi @nathanagin, if there is any trouble, we’d probably need to transfer the stats and what not for you. Once the new site is active and Jetpack is connected, let us know and we’ll do it for you. Make sure you use the same WordPress.com username to connect each site, too. Thanks!
