Migrate Multiple Websites

    Hi,

    How do I migrate 2 of my websites to WordPress? While I understand there is a one-click migration mechanism, how does it work with two websites two different domains? Are the costs displayed for a single domain or I can migrate multiple domains?

    Both my websites are built on self-host WordPress and are essentially blogs.

    I can migrate multiple websites/domains to the same account, right?
    And with the migrate “Everything” option will media including images, embeds, etc will also get seamlessly migrated?
    Is there a service that can handle the migration for me?
    What is the cost if the storage goes beyond 200GB?

    Yes, you can have as many sites and domains under a single WordPress.com account. However, you’ll need separate plans for each site.

    And with the migrate “Everything” option will media including images, embeds, etc will also get seamlessly migrated?

    That’s the maximum storage capacity on WordPress.com. If you reach that limit, then you’ll need to look at a more customized solution from Pressable or WordPress VIP.

    Hi,

    So basically each domain will be a different plan in the same WordPress. Each domain will get 200GB of storage space for the website.

    Buy Plan for website1 – then migrate
    Buy Plan for website2 – then migrate

    I think this gives better clarity of things.
    Hope there aren’t bandwidth concerns.

    Yes, that is correct, although let’s not confuse site with domain. You can have multiple domains for one site, under the same plan. But each site would need a separate subscription :).
