  I was trying to migrate, but it said it cannot and to contact your support. Please let me know what I need to do.

  Hi there,

  A WordPress.com site cannot be migrated using the migration tools in your hosting account at GoDaddy. On WordPress.com we use a modified version of the open source WordPress software, with themes and settings that are only compatible with our system. So it’s not possible to migrate your entire site somewhere else.

  The only thing you can migrate is your site’s content, i.e. posts, pages, comments, and media files. Those you migrate by downloading an export file at My Site ->Tools ->Export, and that file in turn you import using the WordPress importer in the WP-Admin dashboard for your site.

  Export Your Website’s Content
