Migrate Premium Account from WordPress.com to WordPress.org

  Is it possible to transfer my account from WordPress.com to WordPress.org? Since I have already upgrade my service with Domain Mapping and WordPress.com Premium (for video file storage), I would prefer to use WordPress.org and transfer the domain mapping and storage upgrades over to WordPress.org. Thanks in advance for your response.

  Hi there,

  It isn’t possible to move your WordPress.com upgrades to your self-hosted platform. Upgrades are only applicable to blogs hosted at WordPress.com. However, if you would like to move to a self-hosted platform, I’m happy to refund your recent purchases and remove them from your account. Would that work?

  Hi Jeremy,

  I do want to move to a self-hosted platform, using the WordPress.org based web site front end designs. Hence, I would like to cancel my recent purchases through my WordPress.com upgrades. If you can kindly help me with the cancellation and refund effort, you’ll much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

  I went ahead and cancelled both upgrades and issued a full refund. Please allow a few days before the funds appear on your account.
