Migrate social media data to new site

  Good evening,

  I need to get the social media stats (likes, shares, etc.) from realnewsrightnow.wordpress.com transferred to my new site http://realnewsrightnow.com

  If this isn’t the correct forum to ask, would someone mind directing me to the proper one?

  Social media shares and likes are stored by the various social media companies and attached to a domain name. When you change the domain name you cannot transfer the social media sharing stats along with it.

  I’m afraid that is not possible. Share data is based on URLs. If the URL changes for any reason, the share data resets.
