Migrate to self-hosted wordpress

  Hi, I am thinking to migrate to a self-hosted wordpress to have full access to wordpress functions.
  With the export function I export everything execpt the media. How to export media and theme?
  What about the domain?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please note that this would not be possible as stated in our support guide:

  Export

  Media file have to be manually downloaded and your theme is not transferrable between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

  What about the domain?

  As for the domain you can cancel the domain mapping to your WordPress.com site and then change your nameservers to your new host at your domain’s registrar.

  Hi there,

  No, you will have to do that on your end as we are only the support for WordPress.com. We are not your domain’s registrar so you will have to contact them to do it.

  I did a quick search and found your registrar is: 1api.net

  As for your media, you will have to download that manually and import that into your new self-hosted site once that is set.

  I mean if I pay for guided transfer will you move as well media and domain?
  I guess I have to get before the exit code for the domanin and change the registar to wordpress.com or to the new hosting I am going to move.

  Yes if you pay for Guided Transfer you should be set as it states the following:

  Transferring over the content from your WordPress.com site.
  Switching your domain(s) nameserver settings to point over to the new site.

  The guided transfer seems unavailable for Korean Artworks, Ukiyo-e, Cinema sperimentale and Shintoismo…
  What’s the problem?

  If you read the support guide:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/

  it states that you cannot have a Premium Theme applied and these themes will not transfer. On that site you have the Premium Theme Lens applied. Revert to a free theme and you will be able to purchase Guided Transfer.
