  Hello,

  I cancelled the subscription to wordpress.com for k9generation.com website and now would like to delete the wordpress.com account.

  I have set up a wordpress.org account and would like to build the site on there instead via bluehost hosting platform.

  Can you please help delete the wordpress.com platform?

  Hi @k9gen, we can help you cancel the ugprade and remove the site, yes.

  • Start here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
  • Cancel the upgrade. You’ll probably be warned about downgrading; you’ll want to go ahead with that
  • When that’s done, you can delete the site and close the account using these steps:
