Migrate website from Wix to WordPress

    Hi, I would like to find out the feasibility of migrating my wix website to WordPress. My website is NOT a blog, and was built for a travel agency. Can someone from the support team please get in contact to discuss this in more detail?

    Hi Marion, we can’t import the layout, but you can import the content here and use it to set up the site, or if it’s a smaller site where it would be easier to just copy the content into pages, you can do that too.

    Thanks for your return.
    I also have a lot of content in what Wix calls “Light-boxes”. Is this something that can be transferred to WordPress?
    What about the images?
    Could you check out my website, and let me know how easy or not it will be to transfer it to WordPress? https://www.blaycationtravel.com/
    I guess I would also need to create all the connecting links again between the pages?
    Can you also share information about WordPress website loading speed? The main reason I want to transfer is because Wix website loading is not optimum, but I would need to compare with WordPress based on my existing content & functionalities. Is this something you can assist with?

    Most of that should transfer over easily.

    There may be a few images you might need to re-upload, and links may need to be changed, but you should definitely be more than half-way there after the transfer.
