Migrated from .com to .org – couple of questions
-
Hi All,
Would love to pick your brains on a few things.
I recently migrated my blog from .com to .org and with the help of wonderful wordpress staff, all followers have been transferred too. I just wanted to understand how the back end works. Will my blog still show up in their .com reader? Also when I publish a post on .org, does it also get published on .com ?
Is there a likes feature similar to .com for .org blogs ?
Sorry I am just feeling a bit scattered and missing all my awesome followers :)
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, it should. If they were receiving email updates before, as opposed to just reading your posts in their Reader, they may need to re-subscribe, however.

No, your WordPress.com site is no longer updated unless you log in and also continue to post there as well. The two sites are separate.
Is there a likes feature similar to .com for .org blogs ?
Yes, Jetpack offers “likes” too! You can read more about how to activate that feature here: http://jetpack.me/support/likes/
Just let me know if you have other questions!
