    Hi,

Trust all is well, what is the most economical way to have hosting for my wordpress page?

I have my own domain that is parked at another server-its due for renewal in August.

However, if having my domain and then having my wordpress site pointing directly at my registered domain-so the issue of the annual hosting will apply-meaning at wordpress hosting for the site.

That’s why, which is absolutely the very cheapest possible/most basic-really affordable options?

  • Hi there,

So, hosting with WordPress.com is free – what you will need to pay for is using your domain with our site. The cheapest way to go is to transfer your domain over to WordPress.com. We brought back the ability to register a domain without a plan – the one caveat is that you cannot set the domain as primary without a plan. Details here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#set-a-primary-address

Otherwise, you will want to map your domain over which will require a plan. I would recommend the Personal Plan at $48 per year. That will allow you to make your domain primary: http://wordpress.com/plans

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,
