migrating a blog wordpress.com to a wordpress.org few questions

  helo, i have a blog here in wordpress.com but i need customize my theme and use some plug-ins, i know that´s impossible in wordpress.com and i will use a other host, but i dont want change my URL.

  it´s possible? change my blog and no change the URL?

  or exists some paid plan in wordpress.com that offer possibility to use plug-ins and customize my theme? (not only css)

  1. No. If you change your blog, you will lose the wordpress.COM part of your url.

  2. No, there is no upgrade that allows you to use plugins or further customize your blog.

  It’s possible if you already use domain mapping here at wp.com to keep the domain and switch it to a self-hosted wp.org blog. But as Vivian says, you can’t keep a url with wordpress.com in it.
