The only variation I think might have occurred is followers via Reader might have to unfollow then follow the blog again. I just uploaded a new post and it didn’t show up in Reader until I did this. Any idea of how I could rectify this if it is indeed the case?

Users who have followed you in the reader should not see any change other than the URL. They would not need to refollow.
