Migrating a site from wordpress.org to wordpress.com

  I realized that what I really need is a simple blog site on wordpress.com. However, I already built a website on wordpress.org using Go daddy. I exported the data from wordpress.org site and it was saved as an xml data file. But, it will not import into newly created wordpress.com site. Is this possible!
