Migrating and Existing site through Word Press to modernize & add functionality
-
Hi there, my wife run a few Montessori schools and their site is terrible. I was hoping to show her how to modernize it, get more useable functionality from it, drive traffic and interest to it and possibly accept registration payment thought it and possible homework assignment etc. Generally the idea would be to simplify her already extraordinarily complicated life by implementing the right tools at the site. Id like to schedule a conference call. Also, is it possible to keep the existing domain (ptmontessori.com)?
Could I get a call back to discuss further?>
THanks
Vince

Hi there,
We do not offer conference calls, but if you have any questions about the platform we’re happy to answer those here.
I was hoping to show her how to modernize it, get more useable functionality from it, drive traffic and interest to it and possibly accept registration payment thought it and possible homework assignment etc.
We do not have specific learning management (LMS) functionality built in to our platform, but you may wish to consider upgrading to our WordPress.com Pro Plan, which would give you the ability to upload any plugin or theme “designed for WordPress” such as this one that we recommend for online learning:
https://wordpress.com/plugins/sensei-lms
It’s also worth pointing out that the Pro Plan includes live chat support M-F, so you would have access to our priority support team in realtime for any help you might need with setting up and managing your site. More info here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Additionally, you do have the option to have us build your site by giving us some more info here.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
