Migrating blog to my domain

  Hello, I’ve ‘exported’ my blog and received the download link but it wasn’t in the correct format to import into my domain at bluehost. When I tried importing it on the wordpress dashboard on my domain it said this: ‘Sorry, there has been an error.
  This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number’
  How do I get the export download as a WXR file so I can import it?

  Hi there,

  The file you export here on WordPress.com is a WXR file that can be imported to any WordPress website. Did you try uploading the .zip folder in the importer, or did you unzip it and upload the .xml files inside the folder? You need to use the .xml files.
