Migrating existing domain & O365 email to wordpress.com premium.
-
Hello,
I want to migrate my organization’s outdated html website to a wordpress premium site hosted by wordpress.com. We have the wordpress site ready to go. I’m nervous about the actual process because we use Office 365 nonprofit free email. I don’t want to knock out our email for days because I messed something up. Can someone let me know if I understand the process correctly?
1) Upgrade plan to premium http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/?ref=newdash-footer
2) Map my domain inside the wordpress environment http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
3) Add the MX, TXT, SRV, and CNAME records in the wordpress environment http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-email-through-office-365/
4) Go to my domain registrar and update the NS1, NS2, and NS3 records http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
5) Wait for the change to propagate through the web.
Is that everything or am I missing something?
Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Keith,
That sounds about right. As long as your DNS settings are done correctly, you shouldn’t lose access to your email.
