Migrating followers and site statistics
-
I have moved http://abjectsub.com from WordPress.com to HostGator, and my followers and site statistics have not come over with me. I have installed JetPack on the new host and it is tracking my new statistics, but it doesn’t have the old ones. Is there something I have failed to do, or is this something I am supposed to request your help with?

Hi there,
Your subscribers have been transferred and your stats have been merged as requested!
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Thank you, but are you sure they have really been merged? I’m still showing two copies of The University of Abject Submission on my statistics page, and the numbers are different:

HI there,
Yes the numbers should be different as they were merged not replaced. We took the stats from the first site and merged them with the second site. So as you can see the second site has more views, etc. than the first.

Thanks for the clarification. I wish it were possible to exclude all my own hits on April 28-30 before I figured out the right Jetpack settings, but I imagine you don’t have those records.

I’m sorry, but it wouldn’t be possible to remove stats from a certain period of time.
Happy Blogging!
