Migrating followers procedure doesn't show source site
-
Following the instructions for how to migrate followers from our old wordpress.com site (househuntvictoria.wordpress.com) to the new jetpack enabled site (househuntvictoria.ca), the source site dropdown is empty and househuntvictoria.wordpress.com is not there to select. The old site is redirected to the new site.
Is there another way to migrate followers? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you have more than one username account?
Which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased any upgrades for it?
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

If you are not successful gaining access to the blog then please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Thanks that makes sense. I registered the jet pack connected site while someone else registered the WordPress.com site. I’ll see if they can do the migration

Hi there,
Do you still need help with this? From what I can see the site househuntvictoria.wordpress.com still belongs to another account, so you will need to transfer that site to this account before you’ll be able to migrate your subscribers. The same account must own both sites for you to do this.
Let me know if you need more help with this.
