migrating from bluehost to wordpress

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello! I am migrating my hosting from BlueHost to WordPress. I have all the backups and data from BlueHost but not sure of the best way to get it into WordPress without messing anything up. I need help finding the best options to do that. The original person doing the migration for us left and didn’t finish the migration, we were told WordPress is setup and waiting for the backups we got from BlueHost. I’d like to know if we should continue with that process or do it a different way.
    Thanks for any help!

You’ll just want to be mindful of each of the points listed in “Before you Start.” We’re happy to answer any questions you’ve got!

Also, are you able to log in as the site owner or administrator? I don’t see this user connected to the upgraded site on our services. If you can log in with that account, go ahead with that, or they can log in and add you as a site administrator. Let us know how we can help!
