Migrating from hostmysite.com to wp.com

  I have a blog using wp through my website http://www.junemoris.com
  The blog url is http://www.music.junemoris.com

  Hostmysite will discontiue the use of wp and blogs need to be migrated to somewhere else so I started an account on wp.com export my blog but the xml file is found to be invalid on importing it into my new account here. Why is that? the blog is just updated to the latest version. I read all help files I could find but no solution…

  Anyone?
