Migrating from paid to free WordPress blog

    Hello.

    I would like to migrate my paid wordpress .com blog to a free WordPress version.

    Kindly guide me in simple easy steps on how to do it please.

    Also if you kindly mention the pros & cons of having a blog on the free version please.

    If you had a paid WordPress.com blog here already why would you need to create this brand new account minutes before posting? Are you sure you don’t mean you have a site hosted elsewhere built with the wordpress software. You can start building a free site here using this account and can import content from elsewhere to it. But you won’t be able to use whatever custom domain you currently have with a free site here. You’d need to upgrade to a paid plan to do that.
