Migrating from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

    Hello, how can I delete my wordpress.com site? I’d like to create a new wordpress.org site from scratch and since I dont’have any content on my wordpress.com site, I’d like to delete it and recreate another one on the self hosted version.

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    Deleting your WordPress.com site should not affect the site you create from scratch at WordPress.org. If you are not migrating any content from your dotcom site to your dotorg site, and if you are not transferring your domain from WordPress.com, you should be found closing the site.
