Migrating from WordPress.com to WordPress.org with an already bough domain name

  Hello,

  I previously had a website hosted by Netlify with a domain name bought with Namecheap.
  Last may, I created a WordPress.com account, and transferred my bought domain name (initially bought with Namecheap) to WordPress.com. So my domain name is now registered to WordPress.com since the last 25th of may.
  But I realize I’d like to migrate to WordPress.org for a better flexibility.
  I know that do so my domain should have its own hosting service.
  So I tried the “outgoing transfer” option for my domain to transfer it to a new hosting service, but I have a note saying that I need to wait 60 days since the registering date with WordPress.com (which is the last 25th of may).

  My question is :
  Is there anything I can do to migrate to WordPress.org right now ?
  Or am I stuck for the next two months waiting for the 60 days to be done to then be able to register my domain with an other hosting service compatible with WordPress.org ?

  You can point the domain to the new host, here is how you can do that:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#move-a-domain-name
