Migrating from WordPress.com to WordPress.org for Dummies

    So I’ve seen quite a bit of postings for this particular request but I don’t seem to have the idea quite yet.

    What I want: To be able to use themes purchased outside of WordPress.com (an example would be any of the make design/not war themes).

    Here is what I have:
    – Purchased domain through WordPress.com
    – Upgraded to Pro Bundle (believe it’s around $100/yr)

    What are the steps in transferring my existing blog over to WordPress.org while maintaining my same domain name? I know you must download the WordPress.org software and obtain a hosting service however is WordPress.com not a hosting site like “BlueHost” or “GoDaddy?” Or do I need to obtain a new host and completely disregard WordPress.com after exporting my blog?
