migrating my wordpress.com to wordpress.org using godaddy

    I’ve purchased a domain and hosting through go daddy and now Im trying to transfer my wordpress.com to wordpress.org.

    I add my wordpress.com domain (momappingnoproblems.wordpress.com) and then my username and password but I recieve this error message…

    ‘The username or password you entered is incorrect. If you believe the credentials you entered are correct, we recommend disabling any security plugins on your site and trying again’.

    Any help trying to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    You won’t be able to use your .wordpress.com subdomain at GoDaddy. Also, your WordPress.com credentials won’t work on an installation on another server.

    Can you be sure you’re using these steps for transferring?
