migrating photos into wordpress.com
-
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I searched for quite a while and can’t find what I need.
Here’s the deal. I’m migrating my blog from a family domain to wordpress.com. I’m running WordPress 2.5.1 on that domain. I used the export / import function to bring the site over with no problems.
Except lots of the old photos that were stored on the site. For instance, I got many error messages during the import in this format:
Skipping attachment http://eweandme.com/boatblog/wp-content/uploads/2006/01/RiggingUltimotion.jpg
Somewhere along the line I started having my photos hosted at flickr and all those links are fine and good, but I’ve got about a year’s worth of photos that go with the blog that aren’t transferred over.
So, is there an easy way to fix this?
Is there a slow, cumbersome, annoying way?
Thanks,
Tom -
There’s a new multi-uploader, but I haven’t tried it. Read about it here:
