Migrating site from Hubspot to WordPress

    Hey everyone,

I currently have a business site that was built using Hubspot COS and is currently on their platform, however I’m looking into migrating it over into a WordPress Business account very soon as my plan expires in 10 or so days. I have 2 questions I was hoping to get cleared up:

    1) Will I be required to choose a new WordPress theme for my site, or can I manually migrate all the HTML over into the new site?

    2) Can I purchase a WordPress Business site, start the migration of content/pages/forms/landing pages/etc. right now in the mean time, then the my contract expires then port over the domain name so there’s no hiccup in service?

    Howdy djmstacey!
Thank you for your interest in WordPress

    1) Will I be required to choose a new WordPress theme for my site, or can I manually migrate all the HTML over into the new site?

You will have to start afresh in WordPress, you will need to choose a new theme, you can get the content from other platforms provided they are supported by WordPress, it does support importing content in XML format you can try and import it and see how the data comes up, you can use this guide Import

    2) Can I purchase a WordPress Business site, start the migration of content/pages/forms/landing pages/etc. right now in the mean time, then the my contract expires then port over the domain name so there's no hiccup in service?

You can initially start with a Free Plan
and see how it goes, then you can easily Upgrade to Business Plan with a click and avail the exclusive services.
Hope this helps, let us know for any further questions..!
    Regards
