Migrating Statistics

Hello. I’ve just secured hosting for my kenpiercemedia.wordpress.com blog on its own kenpiercemedia.com account. I was told that some of the statistics accrued can be moved over to this new installation before I delete the now duplicate on wp.com – Thanks so much. It’s new so there isn’t a lot. Provided this doesn’t remove what has come since.

  • Hi there,

I’ve migrated your stats to the new self-hosted site.

Rather than deleting, consider just setting the WordPress.com site to private. If you delete it, you’ll lose the kenpiercemedia.wordpress.com address, and won’t ever be able to use it again on WordPress.com. If you set the site to private instead, no one will be able to access it, but you’ll still have the address in case you want to use it again in future.

It’s completely up to you, though.

Thank you for doing this. You make perfect sense on keeping the original blog private as opposed to deleting it in full. I have done that and appreciate you helping me along. Happy New Year.

  • Happy to help, and all the best for 2021 to you also :)
