Migrating statistics from old site to new site
-
Hi, I have successfully shifted my posts from https://naninasim.wordpress.com/ to https://sudharspeaks.com/ but I would kindly request your help to transfer the old site’s statistics as they are pretty significant.
Thank you in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The site at naninasim.wordpress.com belongs to a different account than the one you’re using to post here. Can you please log in as that account and comment here to confirm? Then I can migrate the stats for you.
Note that we can also move the followers on that site to the new site for you – as the sites belong to different accounts you won’t be able to do it yourself. But for that we’ll also need permission from the owner of the WordPress.com site.

Hi, this is my login from naninasim.wordpress.com
And yes, please also move all the followers to the new site at https://sudharspeaks.com/.
thank you

Thanks for confirming via the correct account. I’ve moved the followers and stats for you, so you should be good to go now via the other account.

Dear staff/admin,
Thank you so much for your super-quick help! Everything is well, except for only one post:
https://wordpress.com/stats/post/1416/sudharspeaks.com
This was my most viewed post but it does not show any statistics. In my dashboard, when I click on the stats icon (tiny bar graph icon), it says “Your post has not received any views yet!”
Is there anything I should do to show its history of views?
All the other posts have been perfectly migrated to the new site. -
I’m afraid that can happen – stats are tied to the post IDs, and if that post has a different ID on the new site than it had on the old site, we won’t be able to show the stats for it on the new site.
It might be possible to manually change the ID for that post in the site database to have it match the same ID as it had on the WordPress.com site, but the self-hosted WordPress forums will have to advise you on that:

Okay thank you Admin / Staff..
It looks a bit complicated.. will need time to go into that.
Thank you again for all your quick help!
