Migrating to GoDaddy

  I just read that – ‘Sites hosted by WordPress.com cannot be migrated [to GoDaddy] due to limitations in their hosting.’ What would I need to do to connect the two. I have the domain on GoDaddy and have created the blog in WordPress.

  Hi there!

  If you have a custom domain registered on GoDaddy, you can use that domain with your WordPress.com site.

  You can either map it – your domain will stay with the current registrar and you’ll need to go to their site to manage anything domain related.

  You can also transfer the domain to WordPress.com and we’ll be your new registrar. This way you’ll manage everything from one place and you’ll be able to reach support with any domain related-issues :)
