If I try to add the username and password to godaddy wordpress migration it fails, yet I can use the same information on http://www.wordpress.com and it logs in no problem. What do I need to do to get godaddy to log in?

    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there @gopherbgone

It seems that your site http://www.gopher-b-gone.com is not hosted here on WordPress.com but instead, it is using the self-hosted installation of WordPress.org hosted elsewhere (inmotion hosting maybe?) which is quite different from each other, you can learn more about it from this link. However, I’ll try to point you in the right direction.

It is not that clear in your comment, but it looks like you are trying to migrate your WordPress.org installation to a GoDaddy managed WordPress hosting.

When you are using their tool following this guide:

Follow the wizard and fill in the appropriate fields. You’ll need the following details to start the process:

Domain name of the site you’re migrating.
The WordPress Username and WordPress Password for the site you’re migrating.

They are asking for the Username and Password from your WordPress.org installation, the one you should be using to go into your Admin Dashboard. These credentials can be different from the ones you are using for your WordPress.com account.

    Hope this helps 👍!

Ps. If you have more questions about your WordPress.org installation you can get help from their forum at https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
