Migrating to non hosted Windows IIS Server
-
Hi there,
A colleague has developed a full WordPress site online with an external company, and now he wants to bring this in house.
We want to place the website on a Windows 2008 Server running IIS7.
How do we manage to import the whole website from a host web solution to in house? We have the full export of all the files, but obviously this doesn’t appear to be running. Is there any sort of guide to assist?
Regards
Adam

Hi there. I’m afraid you’re in the wrong forum. This forum only provides support for WordPress.com blogs. For help with a self-hosted setup, whether you’re hosting it in-house or on an external server, you need to post in the WordPress.ORG support forums: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
