Migrating to wordpress.com

  I am looking to migrate to wordpress.com with a premium plan. However, it shows my domain name (site name) such as ourdailymuse.wordpress.com. Shouldn’t I get my site with .com directly without the wordpress in it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,

  Do you already have a domain name as ourdailymuse.com ?

  If you want a domain without “wordpress.com” in it, you would have to purchase/register the domain name.
  See this link if you want to register a new domain:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

  If you already own a domain name and want to move it to WordPress.com, you can do either of the following:
  1. Transfer a domain : https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
  2. Map a domain : https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Doing any of the above would require you to have a WordPress.com plan.
