migrating with bluehost

Hi! I tried migrating my website (REDACTED) to bluehost (REDACTED) because i really liked your service and wanted to get more out of it. However, I’m having trouble exporting all of my data. I cannot generate a zip and sql file that would be necessary to reconstruct the website I created. If I can’t fix it, I’ll have to use another service. I really hope we can figure it out! Thank you in advance

Moving to a self-hosted solution like Bluehost does have its differences from the WordPress.com platform you’re used to. You can find out more about them here:

I think they run on a slightly different version which made everything more complicated than it should have been (notably themes not matching, and portfolio posts being a plugin).
I didn’t realise this would be a public post, would you mind deleting or editing my first post so it doesn’t have my website links?Thank you again.
