Migrating WordPress.com to WordPress.org

  Hello, I am trying to move my WordPress.com blog to WordPress.org (hosted through Bluehost). I had trouble importing the new file to Bluehost, and when it did import, it was extremely incomplete (e.g., only 12 of my 78 blog posts imported). According to Bluehost, my WordPress.com export file is incomplete. What do I do?

  In most cases, I find that you just need to run the import more times. Each subsequent import brings in more of the posts to the new site. This is a common solution to the problem that has worked over the years.

  Something else you might try is to grab a new export, however.
