Migrating WordPress Followers
-
Hello,
We recently updated and folded our blog into our new website, and in the transition, our followers did not transfer over. I have tried to migrate them from within the settings window, but the new blog site does not appear on the drop-down menu. Is there any other way to migrate these contacts over?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy kvalbonesilord!
To clarify, are you attempting to migrate followers from WordPress.com to WordPress.org? If so, look below. For migrating from one WordPress.org self-hosted site to another, go to this link as your question will not be applicable to WordPress.com.
For information on moving your subscribers, you can find it at https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/
For WordPress.com to another WordPress.com:
WordPress.com site to WordPress.com site
If you want to move your site’s subscribers and followers over to another WordPress.com site that you own, you can contact us, and we’ll take care of it in a jiffy.
For WordPress.com to WordPress.org:
WordPress.com to self-hosted site
If you are getting ready to go to a self-hosted WordPress site and would like to bring your subscribers with you, we can also help you with that but you’ll need to do a bit of preparation first:
1. On your self-hosted WordPress site, install the Jetpack plugin, connect it to WordPress.com with your WordPress.com username, and make sure the Subscriptions module is activated.
2. Optionally, add the Jetpack Subscriptions widget to your sidebar.
3. Optionally, on your WordPress.com site from which you’ll want to transfer your followers, post a notice telling your site’s followers that you’ll be moving, and that their subscriptions will be going along with you. This is because, while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site, which they can do if you’ve added the Subscriptions widget.
4. Once Jetpack is connected and ready to go, and you’ve informed your readers about the upcoming move, you can transfer your subscribers right from your WordPress.com user account by following the steps outlined in the Subscription Migration Tool guide. If you prefer, contact us and we’ll move your subscribers for you.
