Migrating WordPress Website

    If I do the website starter plan for $5/month and build the website, can I then migrate the website to another domain I already own? Would I still need to pay the $5/month if I migrate to another domain or would it disappear if I migrate it and cancel?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    I’m not fully sure I understood your question. To clarify, you have an existing site with another provider and you wish to migrate that site to be hosted with us instead?

    If so, what is the URL of your current site so we can take a closer look? Is it your intent to move an exact copy of the site over to us? or do you wish to only import the content (pages, blog posts, image uploads, etc.) so that you can use that to populate a new theme design here?

    Happy to take a closer look and suggest the correct upgrade and in what order you will want to tackle this migration.
