Migrating WP GoDaddy Site to WordPress

  I have a WordPress site hosted through GoDaddy and am debating bring it over to WordPress directly due to price. I am trying to find out if I can bring it over exactly as is (same theme, design, etc.) easily, and what the true costs would be long term. I also have 1 e-mail address through Outlook with the site ($4.75/mo) that I would love to keep, but wouldn’t mind paying less. Thanks!

  A self-hosted WordPress site can definitely be migrated to WordPress.com.

  However, your theme and designs are based on the plan you purchase on WordPress.com. See the plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Moreover, if you already had an email for your domain through GoDaddy before mapping your domain at WordPress.com, you can connect that email hosting. See this link for more details on this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/add-godaddy-email/
