  I would like the guided transfer, but have already sourced the host for my site based on my local needs. Can I still buy the guided transfer?
  I understand I can do this manually, but would rather pay for the reliability and continuation of my stats and users.

  Guided transfer can only be used with one of our recommended hosts:

  Compatible Hosts for WordPress.com Guided Transfer

  So if you have chosen one of those hosts, then yes, you can still purchase Guided Transfer. If you are using a host not on that list then, no, I’m afraid not.

  Can you please clarify whether I will lose my historical statistics with either manual or guided transfer?

  I am not sure that I understand what you are asking here. Can you explain a bit further?

  Many thanks for such a quick response, I’m afraid I didn’t see the notification.

  Because there is no option to have guided transfer to a UK host, my further question regarding links is redundant, however I believe from past experience that they are not part of the export (Link Manager).
