Migration from Wix

    I’m a developer testing the new Wix to WP content import option for a few clients. But receiving errors at the start of import.

    ‘It looks like we’re unable to reach that website address at this time.’

    We have tried multiple sites and none of them have worked. Any insight as to why? Each ID error code appears to be unique to the site. My guess is Wix found a way to block WP imports. Would love some confirmation.

    Hi there,

    It’s not Wix blocking imports, but rather a change in the underlying code on their end that’s giving our parser some issues.

    Our developers are working on this, but for now the only way to make it work is to keep retrying until it does.

    These retries are automatic if the transfer is initiated by someone on staff, so if you’d like us to help with this, let us know the site you’re importing to (you’ll need to make the request as an admin/the owner of the site in question), as well as the URL of the Wix site you’re importing from.
