migration from wordpress.com still active

    I migrated the5krunner.wordpress.com to the5krunner.com IN approx. FEB 2017

I still seem to be getting a few hundred hits a week to the wordpress site. I appreciate that this could be from external links beyond my control.
    1. how can I permanently redirect all user traffic to the correct site please?
    2. is it advisable to delete the wordpres.com site which currently dupliaates old posts?
    3. I still seem to have new recent followers. are they following me (the wordpress user ie the same user) or are they following the old blog or indeed are they following the new blog but it is showing in the old blog

    confused.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • WordPress does offer redirect service for just $13/year:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
This will be the easiest method of redirect.

As for followers you can check your WordPress.COM (the5krunner.wordpress.com) follower list here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/followers/

I’m not sure that I would recommend deleting the old site as it sounds like the redirect could be very beneficial given the amount of users you’re still seeing on the old site.
