Migration to Business Plan

  Hi Team,

  I’ve taken over our corporate website, it’s currently run on-prem and is version 4.9, i’d like to move to a hosted solution where I can just manage the content.
  We use the xchild theme, I suspect we’ve made some customizations and have integration with Marketo for our contact us page.
  I have read that I can migrate content, but looks like there is a different process for themes?
  Are there other considerations I’ll need to make before my migration?
  Like integrations? chatbot? etc

  We have some documentation explaining the process of moving from a site using WordPress.org software with another host, to WordPress.com:

  An existing domain can be mapped or transferred to WordPress.com when you are ready to make the switch.

  Custom themes can only be installed on WordPress.com sites using the Business plan, so you’ll need to upgrade before those options become available:

  I suspect we’ve made some customizations and have integration with Marketo for our contact us page.

  While content can be imported, there isn’t a way to clone existing settings and customisations — they would need to be set up again on the site you create here.
