Migration trouble

    Hi,

I have been trying to migrate my site (geekrewind.com) to WordPress.com, and I have struggled.

    1. geekrewind.com is registered with WordPress.com.
    2. Site is hosted with Google cloud.
    3. I want to keep all intact and migrate the site to WordPress.com host.
    4. I used the Move to WordPress.com plugin to move the site to my WordPress.com.
5 I attached the site to the current domain and made it the primary (default).
    6. After that, waited but traffic is still going to the Google host and not WordPress.
What am I missing? How should I proceed? Do I need to update the DNS to point to an A record at WordPress? I thought WordPress would automatically know since the domain is registered with them.

    Thanks,
    Richard

This has been resolved. Apparently, I needed to wait a bit.

    Thanks
