How do I make a Minecraft server with an IP of “nmoleosoftware.com” – my WordPress site? Thanks.

Hi,
Just so I’m clear on what you’re looking for, you would like to point your domain nmoleosoftware.com to a different IP address where you’re hosting your Minecraft server. Is that correct?

You can point your domain to a custom IP address using the instructions here:

It looks like you have an A record set to point nmoleocraft.nmoleosoftware.com to 24.30.93.214. Can you let me know what service you’re trying to point your subdomain to? If you’re trying to map a subdomain (nmoleocraft.nmoleosoftware.com instead of nmoleosoftware.com), you’ll want to use a CNAME record as described here:
-
Well I want it when somebody types in “nmoleocraft.nmoleosoftware.com” or “nmoleosoftware.com” – whichever is easiest into Minecraft, they will connect to my Minecraft server.
Thanks.

Ok, we only asked because we typically map subdomains with CNAME records multiple A records can often not behave as expected, but CNAME only point to URLs, not IP addresses. It sounds like your server will only be able to be reached via IP address so that’s not an option in this case.
We honestly don’t get many request for this, so it’s possible your Minecraft server needs more than just the one A record.
Other guides online are saying you will need an SRV record in addition the A record:
https://support.enjin.com/hc/en-us/articles/200024719-Subdomains-for-Minecraft-servers
You can add a SRV record in the same place you added that A record. Make sure to use the subdomain you created in the A record for the first field.
