  I would like the instagram widget to appear as the sole footer, how do I go about that?

  Hi,

  WordPress.com widgets, including the Instagram Widget, may only be added to widget areas available on the theme applied on the site. The Minnow theme doesn’t offer a footer widget area. You may add the Instagram widget to the slide-out Sidebar Widget area.

  There are many other themes that have one or more optional footer widget areas available.
