Minnow theme motto

  Hi, I have the Minnow Theme set for my blog, and even if there’s the possibility to change the motto on the customize section, it doesn’t appear on the blg. Is that normal?

  Hi. I presume that by “motto” you mean what WP refers to as a “tagline.” But your blog doesn’t have one.

  Correction:
  Your website might have a tagline, but it isn’t displayed with the Minnow theme. I just discovered this on a test website. If you want to remove a motto / tagline, then go to General > Settings. Delete the content of the box labeled “Tagline.” Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Save changes.”

  Sorry maybe the english voice isn,t motto but subtitle. anyway I linked an image. I have the possibility to customize the subtitle, as you can see on the picture I flagged the box, but even after I save the settings, it doesn’t appear. I thought if the theme didn’t support the subtitle I wouldn’t have the possibility to set it. Right?

  You put an image in the subtitle area? Perhaps you’re referring to a site logo.

  You can customize the subtitle or tagline at Customize, but it doesn’t display. At least it doesn’t display on my test website.

  Yes, that makes sense to me. But it isn’t true in this case. The tagline box is evidently on the General Settings page regardless of theme chosen. But on some themes the content of that box will not display.

  Apparently you can add a logo at Customize > Site Title.

  Are you referring to the small image of the desert buttes just above your title? That must have been your logo selection Customize > Site Title. You can remove or change that image at Customize > Site Title. In English the options, seen just below the image in the site title editor, are “Remove logo,” and “Change logo.”

  Ok I got it. Anyway I was talking about the tagline. On the customize menu-site title, there are just 3 settings. Site title, tagline and logo. I have the possibility to set them all, but the tagline doesn’t appear. I guess you’re right, the setting appears regardless. Thank you for the support!

  You meant the dropbox image.
